Goliath sheds like crazy. Common trait in Labradors, his dominant breed, and everything is constantly covered in yellow fur.
This yellow fur sticks out on my black slacks, shirts, jackets, etc.
I am continuously vaccuming, sweeping, and using one of those sticky roller things!
I have been trying different brushes and none seemed to get all the fur.
I was looking up info on Labs one day and ended up on a breeders web site.
She had a grooming section, and that's where I found the shedding blade.
She said it was a great tool for grooming Labs.
So, the next day I was at the store buying dog food and saw this magnifcent device on the shelf.
I figeured it couldn't hurt to try it. If it doesn't work, oh well.
So, I purchased it.
Goliath needed a bath, so after his bath I tested this bad boy out.
OMG, it's the greatest invention ever.
It gets all the loose hair off of him, I ended up with a huge pile of fur.
I use it one to two times a week now, and it's all I use.
It works wonders! His coat is softer and shinier, too.
I don't know whether to thank the new shampoo or the blade for that, I bought them on the same day and started noticing a difference after using both.
The blade looks a little scary, and you shouldn't apply too much pressure as it can cut the dog, but when used properly it does an amazing job!
